He remembers
An excellent devotional given by Cecelia Peek about how Christ remembers us continually.
I was in Stake Conference a few weeks ago and in one of the talks this concept jumped out at me, how all of the Lord’s creations are continually before him. The speaker said it in a way that resonated with me. Omniscience was the concept. Not in the sense that Christ knows everything, which he does, but what rung true was that he knows all of his creations perfectly. Christ has engraven us “upon the palms of [his] hands” and says to his children (the House of Israel specifically), “thy walls are continually before me.”
We are not always perfect in remembering Him but he perfectly knows us and remembers us. In the temple was where I really found this to be true. Christ is alive and well and continually works for our welfare.
